Gillian LeMasonry
Chair
Gill has been involved with the village for some years and moved permanently to Marshfield in 2016 with her husband and children. She is Sales & Marketing Director for a diagnostics company within the veterinary industry and has extensive business experience. Gill enjoys playing an active part within the village and happily looks after her growing menagerie of sheep, horses and chickens.
Howard Finnegan
Vice Chair
Howard has lived and raised his family in Marshfield for over 25 years and recognises it is an exceptional place to live with a special community spirit. Howard was involved in setting up the Junior Football Club when it first started and ran a team for many years before joining the Parish Council in 2015. He strongly believes that getting involved ensures a community continues to develop and thrive.
Dawn Brooks
Councillor
I have been in Marshfield or Cold Ashton for many years, my children and grandchildren all live here. I am active within the village and was leader of the youth club for may years.
I am a farmer who believes in traditional farming methods and high animal welfare.
I enjoy volunteering and help with admin and marshalling at local vaccination centres.
My hobbies include my dogs and my farm.
I joined the parish council as I feel I can contribute my experience to help the village keep its unique mixing of rural and professional lifestyles.
Peter Hogben
Councillor
Peter moved to Marshfield with his wife Christine in 2004 just after he retired.
Having spent most of his working life in the airline industry he has enjoyed a settled life in Marshfield which has allowed him to immerse himself in the local community.
He joined the Parish Council in April 2018.
Martin Smith
Councillor
Martin is a professional ecologist with interests in regenerative agriculture, food, horticulture, music, and frequenting the pub with friends. Martin is an active member of the Marshfield community and is on the committee of Sustainable Marshfield and is a holder of an allotment. Martin is keen to improve the wildlife biodiversity around Marshfield and to increase access to our green spaces to benefit the wider community.
Ros Snow
Councillor
Ros moved to the village with her husband and three children in 1992 after living in London, Kent and Indonesia. Since then she has been a mature student, a house renovator and a B&B owner. She was appointed a Councillor in 2018, she is a regular contributor to All Around Marshfield and a board member of the Community Land Trust.
Bob Veitch
Councillor
Bob has lived in the village with his family since 1976 and has been on the Parish Council for 10 years. He has written and published two booklets on the Catherine Wheel and The Crown and has a large collection of local history information. He is also a volunteer guide at Dyrham House. Bob has written for All Around Marshfield for many years and became its editor 7 years ago.
